ASAP Work Activity Programs – (conducted in the clinic, community or workplace setting) aim to assist injured workers achieve optimal functional outcomes with a strong RTW and physical upgrading focus. All ASAP programs are provided by Workcover accredited ASAP Physiotherapists or Exercise Physiologists with specific experience in dealing with work related injuries.
The ASAP team work together to promote viable cost effective and sustainable RTW outcomes via facilitating active based strategies with a strong evidence-based and RTW specific focus. All ASAP therapists utilise a cognitive behavioral approach and facilitate self management in skill development. Excellent communication strategies with all key stakeholders aim to facilitate appropriate RTW upgrades and optimal functional recovery for the injured worker.
“Regular In-house” peer reviews, communication and consistent reporting are also true advantages of our team approach and focus on positive outcomes with NTD case conferencing and Worksite or Home visits key features of our programs.
Criteria for Program Selection – is based on recommendations drawn from the initial work recovery assessment with additional considerations from the injured workers history, the presence of psychosocial factors, current claim situation and expected time frames to achieve sustainable RECOVERY and RTW outcomes.
